One of my favorite tips for easy cleanup in the kitchen is to spray your crockpot with non-stick spray (like Pam) before adding your ingredients.
I love cooking in my crockpot and a super easy cleanup makes for a perfect ending to a great meal.

Between the sand box and the sand/water table, we have an abundance of sand around our house. We originally purchased it very cheap at Lowe’s. We’ve found this sand to be also be a wonderful medium for our art projects! To create your own colored sand, simply place the desired amount of sand in a plastic bag or bowl and add drops of food coloring. Once the sand dries, you can begin using it in your crafts.
Some ideas for using your colored sand:
Create an array of colors and pour each one alternatively into a glass jar.
Pour colored sand in a jar and use as a candle holder.
Draw pictures with glue on paper or picture frames. Pour colored sand over the glue. Sand will stick to the glue and pour off the rest of the picture leaving behind your drawing in sand.
