Easy Biscuits from Scratch

Ingredients

2 cups self-rising flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 Tbsp sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
5 Tbsp oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and sugar.
  3. Stir in egg, milk, and oil.
  4. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  5. Roll dough and cut 12 biscuits.
  6. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes or until biscuits are done.
